INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Insights Association Professional Researcher Certification (PRC) Board announced that Jeff Hutson, an Indianapolis-based market research and communication professional, achieved the designation of PRC by successfully completing the program’s application, continuing education and examination requirements. Candidates must meet rigorous requirements to be eligible for the PRC examination (a prep course is available). Achieving the PRC designation demonstrates awareness of the highest ethics and standards, a commitment to remaining abreast of new research techniques and technologies, and is an objective measure of knowledge and proficiency.

Hutson has more than thirty years of experience in marketing communication and research. He is a graduate of Butler University and Ball State University and has completed the University of Georgia’s rigorous Principles of Market Research program.  He is accredited by the International Association of Business Communicators and has completed advanced training in computer-aided focus groups.

Professional Researcher Certification (PRC) is a coveted credential for individual researchers of all levels of work experience and education. The PRC program was established to further the Insights Association’s mission to encourage high standards within the profession, to raise competency, and to inspire continued professional development. Additionally, this certification standard is designed to increase consumer understanding and appreciation of the research practice.
